Accepted Papers Details
The third research symposium on urban transport will be coordinated by IIT Madras under the aegis of Ministry of Urban Development on 5th December 2012 at the 5th Urban Mobility Conference(http://urbanmobilityindia.in/) in Delhi. The symposium is proposed as a platform to highlight the current research carried out by the academic and research institutes in urban transport, especially by the young researchers.
The purpose is to:
(a) Encourage the young researchers working on various facets of urban transport and provide an opportunity for networking
(b) Capacity building in the area of urban transport, and
(c) Contribute towards the database compiled by the Institute of Urban Transport to identify gaps for future research funding.

Extended abstracts not exceeding 1000 words, clearly stating the objective of the paper,
key results and accomplishments and their significance and the advancement over previous
work should be submitted for review following the timeline given below.It should be e-mailed to coeut.iut@gmail.com.
Papers will be selected based on their originality, timeliness, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation. Submission of a paper should be regarded as a commitment that, should the paper be accepted, at least one of the authors will register and attend the conference to present the work.
